Traditionally, Educational Therapy has focused on the remediation of learning differences. Serving the lifespan, Paul-André's practice moves beyond learning differences to embrace a much deeper meaning to living and learning. He acknowledges an array of difficulties that can arise throughout an individual's educational career that may warrant therapeutic consultation. These challenges often stem from the stress and anxiety associated with goal setting/attainment/expectations, performance and social anxiety, communication, identity, and other challenges from bullying to the uncertainty associated with of a change in major.
Reflecting his work with the lifespan, Paul-André has guided clients approaching and entering retirement, assisting in this major life transition through the discovery of continued learning, new growth, and renewed purpose. His approach honors the individual learner in their life-long pursuit of a more fulfilled existence.
Paul-André collaborates with a number of professionals to offer exclusive Wilderness, Somatic, and Art Therapy experiences that assist the individual learner in tapping into their true vocational passion in the 'here and now.' His experience as a special educator and administrator, as well as career counselor and employment specialist grant him the skills necessary to provide a wide array of coaching, career counseling, and employment services that range from assessment to job support.
